My go to soft shell

Of all of my SD outerwear, this is my favorite piece! It's super versatile; I can use it around the campfire during the summer or layer up under and use it on a hike in the winter. I always take it on trips as it packs small and doesn't wrinkle easy if gets smashed in the bottom of my bag. The fused seams give it a super clean look and helps shed water if it rains.

Chris,
Have you had an opportunity to use the Lunatic jacket? If so, how would you compare it to the Vapor in terms of hood fit, overall fit (cut: more athletic or less?), sleeve length, etc. Does the Lunatic have a brushed/raised interior? I haven't decided between the Vapor and the Lunatic. I'll be using mostly for winter peak bagging, snowshoeing, occasional skiing and ice climbing. I do know that I like the fit of the Vapor!

I have a Lunatic as well. I like it but find that the Vapor is a little more versatile. It's a bonded softshell with a brushed back. It has longer sleeves and is bigger in the body than the Vapor. Hope this helps.

Do you find the Vapor Jacket breathes well, and the fabric is better-than-average durable? I have the Vapor Pants and like the fabric, and they seem fairly breatheable, but for me it's harder to tell in pants vs. jackets.
