I picked this jacket because it was the lightest one I could find anything written about. I also did not want something that would make me look like the Michelin Man. I'm a pretty muscular guy:6'1"and 240lbs with a 52" chest. I got the 2XL and I find it roomy. If I was looking for a closer fit,I think I could get away with the XL. While not as warm as the typical down jacket,I find that a good thing. I'm not sweating while being active. I think that this jacket is plenty warm till it drops into the 20s and even then its fine for chopping firewood.
