Dude sweet jacket I have used it for climbing, hiking, snowshoeing, and around town. jacket construction is good few things i would change is under arm ventilation and a lighter weight of core-loft in the arms. During hi exertion sports such as snowshoeing my torso was at a temperature that was warm but limited the amount that I perspired while my arms were very sweaty At the top of the mtn (8 mile round trip with 3000 feet elevation gain) put on a lightweight fleece under the atom jacket(helping wick the sweat away) and watched my wife build a snow cave I was impressed with how fast the jacket dried from my sweat and did a awesome job at stopping the wind(gust of 15-20mph) with being sweaty and sitting down in snow for a hour I was impressed with not getting cold. jacket is very water resistant does a good job yet I would not trust it if i had to stay out more then a day in wet conditions. Also its temperature range is good you can us it to exercise with and not get to hot yet sitting down do nothing it does a good job of keeping you warm. All in all I like the jacket and would suggest it to a friend

You may like the Arc Aphix hoody, it has more insulation but the arms have fleece down whole arm and cuffs aren't tight around wrist.
