The Kialoa Methane Stand-Up Paddle is best known as a killer surf paddle, but it also leads a satisfying secret life as a touring and race paddle, too. Inspired by surfboard shaper, Blane 'Methane' Chambers, this carbon fiber paddle's lightweight design won't leave you gassed after a day in the waves or short on power during the sprint for the finish. The superlight blade features a full carbon fiber construction that nearly pushes itself through the water and a ten-degree bend that is ideal for quick starts and turns in flat water and surf. The comfortable oval shaft is fully carbon for light weight, moderate flex, and good energy transfer. It's topped off with a unidirectional Ergo-T design handle that provides a natural feel in your palm and assists with blade control.
