I owned a pair of original Chameleons. I abused them for 4 years. They went through mud, rocks, brush, snow and water. I used them for backpacking, some climbing, hiking, biking and kayaking. One of the best shoes ever. Before that i had a pair of merrell land pro ultras wich i wore for 5 yrs of abuse. I almost bought these but thought i would try out another brand. Hope I didn't make a mistake.
