This Yakima rack fit right on my 99 jeep grand cherokee out of the box perfectly. Doesn't get in the way of the sun roof and all the accessories that I already had for my car work with it. I put my bike mounts on and another perfect fit. Doesn't get in the way of the back hatch. This rack is sweet!

I have a 2004 Grand and was worried it would either interfere with my sun roof or hang over too far and hit the hatch when it opened. Thanks for the info. I was also concerned about the width. Does it hang over the side much?
