I like the look of these poles, and the grip is great.
I am worried about the baskets. This pole comes with two baskets that you can screw off by hand (every day basket (60 mm) and a powder day basket (80 mm)). Changing the baskets is not easy because the plastic on the baskets is extremely soft. The thread used to screw on the baskets does not seem like it will hold up to a season of constant changing. I believe by the middle of the season the thread on the baskets will be completely stripped. The idea is great, but it needs more engineering.
Update: Well one of my poles snapped in half yesterday on the hill. The poles were not bent at all prior to this. Clean break at a beefy part of the pole (see photo). Surprising because I'm not a big person (5'6" 140). Based on what other people are saying about Line poles--maybe I received a bad pole?
However, I never had a problem with the baskets like I thought I would.
