Like wearing Hi-tec Air!!

  • Gender: Male
  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Great for around town, on the slopes or hiking. Very lightweight, versatile jacket that does not overheat & very flexible over a wide range of weather and wearability situations. Great worry free Wearability: no hassles about sleeves being too long or short, chest has great flex not tight /not loose, very very comfortable stretch fit. Like wearing high-tec air.

Have worn in is temps from 50's to 20's. No problems & I'm picky about NOT wanting to sweat /overheat. Temps is the mid 20's is pushing it, but if you're doing any physical activity (brisk walk) it retains warmth well & was comfortable.

True to sizing, with a lot of forgiveness in the fabric design. A unique feature.

Wind resistant, not proof, so adjust accordingly. I like the extra breathability that this wind resistant design provides. Got it at $159. sale price & felt like I got a tremendous value. I rate this better than feathers since even if a drenching downpour does get thru, the Coreloft insulation is still working & dries faster than cold wet feathers.

I bot the Tungston color which is like a medium gray,....great all around color that hides dirt and goes with other clothing colors. Loved it so much bot a 2nd one Thalo Blue,...beautiful tough looking color.

Hood is large but not too large & no adjustments,...a minor drawback. But I use it under my Marmot /North face shells that have hood adjustment and turn those shells into superior Triclimates!

If I want to double my heating strength for below 25 degrees F., I put on 2 of these Atoms & performance is unbelievable. For pouring rain just add a shell of your choice. There is very little bulk in this jacket & it quickly moulds to a wide variety of wearing situations. Gets my HIGHEST RATING!
