Thanks for this detailed review. I ordered one, and it just arrived; it looks to be everything you said. I will wait till I get back from my 2 weeks in Europe to write a review so I can see how it preforms in the rain, but it seems very well made, and incredibly light. I hope I have dry weather in the Alps, but if the rains shows up, it looks like my head and torso will remain dry without my having to lug 5 pounds of rain coat around with me.
