Just okay - Marmot Trient Way Better

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I replaced my Patagonia Micro Puff with Marmot Trient and I'm so glad. Marmot jacket sheds wind, rain and the shell/hood are exactly what I was looking for. Hood is totally adjustable with toogle cords on the sides and back of the hood. I've worn it in ranges from mid 30s to high 40s with just a light fleece or long sleeve tshirt.

Micro puff has limited temp ranges and the hood is only adjustable from the back so, you have to put your head into a kind of pocket. Marmot jacket is more durable, waterproof and great for wind. If you're debating about the Micro puff...check on the Marmot Trient
