Its... OK.

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I spent about 70 consecutive nights in this tent, mostly in car camping situations, but with several weeks of backpacking as well. I bought this tent on the road under limited options when my previous tent (msr hubba hubba) bit the dust in a windstorm after years of abuse.
Pros: The limelight is attractive, incredibly easy to set up, and is sold at a pretty good value. I like the pockets and gear loft, and appreciate that the footprint is included. The tent appears to be fairly strong in windy situation, and leaking was never a problem.
Cons: This tent is NOT durable. Almost immediately the hub that holds the poles together broke. We re-wired with zipties. Next up, the fly zipper started snagging. How irritating! The orange color is also rather not stealthy.
