I want one!

This pack is loaded with features. I really do wish that Deuter made this exact pack for adults. It fits my 10 year old great witht he adjustable shoulder harness and he has room to grow. Very nice.

Lee, I'd suggest the Deuter Guide 35+ as an adult version. It has a few more bells and whistles as an alpine pack, but is about the same size, about $30 more, basically, a little bigger and more high-end pack, but scalable for adults. (I love my Guide 45+ and my ten year-old used it on a backpacking trip last week--it didn't quite fit him right, but was very close and worked well for a total weight of 22 lbs and a 2 hour hike to the beach in Olympic Nat Park. No complaints from him (aside from the rain). I love it as my summit and day pack and if you want closer to 30 L size, the Guide 35+ could be perfect. just a suggestion.) Personally, I think I may get him the Guide 35+ because it'll fit him 100% right in a year and he'll be able to use it through adulthood if it lasts that long. And that way he won't end up taking my 45+ to summer camp!
