I am a beginner, and took some time to read reviews and ask friends that have been climbing for several years. The friends recommended Evolv and 5-10, so I read reviews on these two brands as well as one other (forget the name of the other, La something). Anyway, I decided on the 5-10 Coyote, and I love the shoe. Great fit, very comfortable, very sticky, and just love them.
