I was looking for a lightweight down sweater/jacket, and found this on sale. It does exactly what I wanted. It's super lightweight - you can hardly tell you're wearing it except that you're warmer - and packs very small. I wore it at about 30�F with just a t-shirt under it and was comfortably warm. The hood makes a big difference in keeping me warm. I wish it had a drawstring to snug it down though. The Pertex outer shell is very light. I'd recommend wearing a shell over it if you will be wearing a pack or going through brush. I recommend it for anyone looking for an ultralight insulating layer.
