As other reviewers pointed out, it is a bit snug at the band, but it is very supportive and comfortable, and after a while, I forgot all about it feeling snug. I am a 36B, and purchased the medium, and it seems to be working fine. Haven't tried it yet in damp or warm weather yet, so I cannot speak for its wicking abilities. However, I do own a sundry of merino wool clothing (tops, bottoms, socks, long underwear, etc.), and it hasn't let me down yet.

2013-07-24: I LOVE these bras. In fact, I loved the first one so much, I purchased a second. Never smelly, never shrinks (I've accidentally thrown it into the dryer a couple of times), is always comfortable, I've put them through the wringer, and they aren't showing any wear. I wear them as everyday bras (unless it's showing outside of or through the shirt- I only have black), running bras, hiking bras, long-distance walking bras, cross-country skiing bras, downhill skiing bras, etc., etc.
