Great pack even though I returned it.
- Gender: Male
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
So I ended up returning this pack after a summer of use, not because there was anything wrong with it. I saw the new model of the Osprey Aether 85 and they finally made the changes I wanted. They added hipbelt pockets which is a must for me. This pack is not bad though it does have a few shortcomings. I like all the features it has but the hip belt pockets are rather small so you can only carry small items such as chapstick. I am not a fan of the back pads though because there is no room for air circulation.
This pack still has a lot of nice features such and a removable lumbar pack. A sleeping bag compartment is an amazing feature and I love it.
It fits great even though it doesn't have an adjustable torso like the Osprey.
I was really on the fence between these two packs that it came down to such small details that made me chose this Gregory pack. Now that Osprey has fixed their pack I am going to give it a try who knows I may be switching back to the Boltoro.
