Great looking jacket with minor flaws
The jacket looks great. I had a guy running up to me just to ask where I got the jacket from. I am 5'7", 140lbs, and the medium fit me well if I wear only a base layer underneath it. The armpit is a little tight, so if you are a bodybuilder type, it's not going to fit. The sleeve's wrist opening is tight, not adjustable. I definitely prefer Velcro adjustment. The jacket is constructed solely with Polartec Powershield, which is abrasion resistant, and blocks the wind well, but doesn't insulate due to the thinness of the material. I can feel the cold seeping in. None the less, I work up a sweat in 45F temperature just by walking fast, and the fabric around my neck is a little damp, which is why I had to return the jacket. It just doesn't breath well enough for me. I would love to buy a jacket made entirely with Powershield O2, which breath well enough for me. I tried the O2 in Marmot Pro Tour jacket, loved it, but the Pro Tour's back and side are made of their M2 softshell, which pilled during the short time I used it.
