Great PacLite shell for the price
I like I'm sure many others snatched this off SaC for 90$. This is my first PacLite jacket and I'm quite happy with it. I own 2 other Gore-Tex jackets and I can tell a difference in breathability without a doubt.
Also having the Gore-Tex lifetime guarantee is nice as I have known people to get jackets replaced/refunded several years after purchase with no hassle.
From what I understand Outdoor Research also has a very good warranty as well.
Onto the jacket, the material is fairly light I believe it's 40D. The jacket is very comfortable and an XL fit me perfectly (I'm 5'11" 215lbs).
The jacket is completely waterproof as you would expect from Gore-Tex. The breathability is good but not as good as the DryQ Elite jacket I own.
Also I found the inside of the jacket would occasionally stick to my arm when I was working hard.
The TorsoFlo venting is same as Mammut uses in it's Ulimate Hooded Sofshell jacket.
Meaning it can be worn like a poncho or just used a normal pit zip. The zippers are somewhat stiff but they also did not leak and stayed where I put them which is nice.
As previous reviewers said the DWR works great and I have yet to get the fabric to wet out.
The pockets although a little high are still very usable. I've read you can stuff the jacket into one of the interior pockets but I'm not sure how.
For 90$ the jacket is hard to beat if your looking for a light weight waterproof/breathable.
