Great Mid-Level Headphones

Bottom Line: These headphones are prefect are people looking for over-the-ear quality, good bass, and noise cancelation, without the high price of professional headphones.

I got the Habitat Rasta version of the G.I.'s
Which is still available, but I'm not sure about dogfunk.

I love em, especially since they have a sleek zipper
on top that opens a small pocket with a metal
bottle opener inside.

The sound quality is pretty good.
I used audio samples made for audio testing.
And determined that mine can go as low as roughly 15hz, any lower and the sound distorts.
I would expect any G.I. headphones to go as low as 20hz, and sound great.

Comfort is good. My ears are large so if I ever get another pair I'll probably find some that are 50mm just so the ear cushion is naturally wider, but the 40mm ear cushion is still good.

For the price and quality, there some of the best headphones skullcandy offers.

MAX POWER INPUT: 400mW (Yes, this is an accurate rating)
No, it was not easy to find out, I had to wait to read it on the packaging. >.<

The nylon-braided cord tends to wear out over time, especially near the edges where ports connect.
Also, there is no volume control, as advertised on some websites. NO VOLUME CONTROL.
There is however a single mute button. & Mic.

Possible Upgrades:
Better sheath for cable.
Metal/Rubber combo structure for ports.
Improved folding design, just allowing it to fully-tuck.
(like professional dj headpones)

I honestly don't know why headphone companies don't make cheap over-ear headphones that fold into more compact positions.

Still, overall pretty good.
I'd get another pair if something happened to things, oh wait, lifetime guarantee. boo yah.
