Good, lightweight climbing knife
I've been climbing since I was 14, in the early 70's. I've never carried a knife while rock climbing. Alpine is a different matter, where a knife is a part of your basic survival gear. But I've become convinced that there are circumstances where webbing could become tangled on a rock climb, and a knife could come in handy. This little knife is as light and compact as it can be. It clips to your harness with a carabiner, and cannot open accidentally while clipped to a 'binder. It is well designed for a minimalist, light weight knife for climbing. Go ahead and carry it, but be wise, and hope you never need to use it, other than to slice snacks after a good climb.
