Good for what they are

  • Gender: Male
  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

For a non-touring beginner snowshoe these are great. They dont fair too well in deep stuff (even with the tail extension) but work extremely well for normal trails. Light, strong, and bulletproof. Only issue is lack of Climbing Heel which the Evo Tour has. It just doesn't seem like one should pay an extra 30$ for 1$'s worth of plastic.
I lend these to my friends who want to try out showshoeing before buying a pair and they never have issues or mechanical failures, and praise its simplicity.
All in all I would recommend these if you are wanting to getting into snowshoeing and staying on trail.
