Good boot, Zero service.

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

What you see is NOT what you get
Watch out, the Garmont Delirium freeride boots come with ISO soles not Alpine Touring soles as was posted on the backcountry website. I purchased these boots months ago and have been trying to get the AT soles through backcountry and Scott since. I have hit a brick wall. Scott don't seem to be interested in customer service and backcountry haven't been much help - and I'm not asking for free soles, I'm happy to pay. Great boot, zero after sales service. So if you want to get these boots make sure you are getting the soles you need as you will struggle to get any joy later. The one star is for Scott and Backcountry -straight up they suck.

First time i've heard a cross word with Backcountry's customer service! I did notice your post was dated August 11. Very likely the soles you're looking for will become available a little closer to ski season.

We are in need of the alpine block if any one would like to trade for the touring block, we really need the alpine! The shop said they came with the alpine block but shipped them with the touring and now cannot find the right one? Help
