Good Bag. Packs Small. Estimated 5-10 pounds.
I first used this bag Halloween of 2009 in Arches National Park. I'm not sure what the temperature was, but it was definitely below freezing. I could not get warm in this sleeping bag. However, it might've gotten below 20 degrees and the alchohol probably didn't help either.
I just recently used this bag in Yosemite this first week of August 2010. Because it was summer, I thought it wouldn't get that cold. I was wrong. Down in the valley it was warm, but at the higher elevation (We stayed at Crane Flat) it was cold at night. I shared the sleeping with my fiance and we were never cold. Others who were also sharing sleeping bags complained about the cold.
The bag that it comes with is really small and I was concerned about being able to get it back in there without having to wrestle with it. I had no such problems. Roll it tight and it'll squeeze in there.
I would recommend this sleeping bag. It packs small and it doesn't seem that heavy (We were car camping). I'll probably buy another one to replace my fiance's bulky sleeping bag we bought at Walmart.
Giving it 4 stars because of my first experience with it.
