Quick and simple: Coming from the Observer, the Core has weight and ease as its main perks. The plastic body and screen are a bit discouraging and not stated in the specs. The All-Black-Military model looks and feels amazing. Suunto is a brand I trust on the mountain when running guided trips but always pack a compass as sometime the calibration can fail.
