Five 10 Exum Guide is a Great Shoe but...
The 5.10 is one of the best shoes for climbing rugged rocky peaks I have ever owned. On dry rock I feel like a mountian goat. The shoes are difficult for me to put on due to my high instep and full volume foot, but once they are on they are incredibly comfortable. I use Super Feet to replace the okay but less than supportive insoles that coe with the shoe.
These shoes are like racing tires, they wear out after two seasons, but oh what a ride. My biggest complaint is the stiching. The stiching seems to start falling apart very quickly and the rubber rands start separating quickly as well. Still I climb 3 out of four weekends during the summer and fall and I love this shoe.
