Supportive, durable, comfortable. Just watch the sizing... Scarpa isn't kidding around when they note that they offer TWO half sizes. Technically, they offer two 1/3 sizes. So between each full size (US), you'll see, say 11 1/3 and 11 2/3. I typically wear a US 11.5. I tried the 45 which says its a 11.5 US, but it was really a 11 1/3 so I returned them and ordered the 45.5 (11 2/3). Of course, many will order their climbing and approach shoes a bit smaller than normal for peformance, so it's up to you. As always, try them on and walk around in the store wearing the socks, orthotics, etc that you would normally wear to see which fit you better.
