Don't like 'em.

Why did dynafit change a winning binding (the old TLT). These can't switch from ski to walk without taking them off, I've had friends break the heel piece housing, and the weight is about the same. Also, you can't switch the heel piece from walk to ski with your pole from a standing position. Please bring the old TLT's back!

How were you switching from ski to skin mode without taking the skis off? You have to remove the toe to remove the heel.

with the tlt speeds, from ski mode you can crank the toe piece up to climb mode, then put the handle of your pole between your heel and the stiletto riser. Then you push the binding toward the no riser position, while twisting your foot in the same direction and pulling up on your heel. You pop right into climb/walk mode. Great for traversing some flats if you don't need your skins. You can also put them from climb/walk into ski mode with your pole, so you don't have to bend down.

PS, I just blew up my radicals today. After 1 year and 17 days, and about 50 days of skiing, the whole riser assembly on one heel piece ripped out of the heel piece when I was climbing, and on the other heel piece two of the hex screws are starting to pull right out of the heel piece. I have skied a lot less this last year as I have a child now. My old TLT's I had for 5 years and they are still fine, and I was skiing those when didn't have kids and had lots more time. If people like the radical, fine, keep it, but a lot of us want the TLT's back, especially here in Revelstoke.
