Although I have kayaked before, I never owned one.I bought this one this Summer and it was verysmooth and maneuverable in the water. The newcomfort seat was great...no fatigue factor. Someof the rentals I have used were not so comfortable,or maneuverable. The color is the red/orange/yellow mix, "Sunset" I believe it is called; highly visible on the water, but no glare problem from bright sun. Shipping and delivery was timely and dependable,by the way. Glad I bought it. you.Bill
