I'm definitely content with the lamp, but you must know what you're looking for before you buy. In my 3-person tent, this provides adequate light, but not overly bright. Sometimes I wish it were a little brighter. On the flip side, batteries last forever and it's pretty darn packable. If you want a really bright lamp, look elsewhere.
