Decent lightweight boot

These boots stood up well to backcountry hiking for about 300 miles. They eventually started to leak through the gore-tex around the edges of the sole but that is somewhat expected. After about 400 miles they have begun to start busting at several of the seams, so it is time to retire them. They were very comfortable and I've still yet to get a blister while wearing a vasque boot, so kudos to vasque for their designs. I have somewhat weak ankles and theses still provided all the support I needed while carrying a 60lb pack and walking over some serious tussocks. All in all I would recommend them for trail hiking for sure, if you're going to be going off trail a decent amount stick with an all leather boot.

I agree, these are very good, comfortable boots but they lack durability.
