The backpack is pretty much perfect for my skiing and other outdoor needs. It has room to fit a back country snow shovel with the whole main pocket to spare. Great for powder days, long hikes and I've even started using it for school and it works great. The ski carry feature is especially impressive. It's designed to let you adjust the wires and straps to fit just about any size of skis. I don't give it five stars because I wish It had places to stash all the extra straps when I don't have the waist and chest strap hooked in. When I use it for school the straps just hang everywhere, but seriously that isn't a big deal at all.
