Gear Review

Check out my backside!

This bag has been a steady companion for years. I've owned several daypacks since I bought the Arro back in '05 (round about then), but I've always gone back to this reliable friend. It's clung to my backside snowboarding in Chile, climbing volcanos in Indonesia, hunting surf beaches in Australia, and scouting new caves in Mexcio. This year when I had to move to Brazil with a minimal amount of gear allowance, I didn't hesitate to grab for this pack first. The zippers have been trouble free for years. The hydration pouch can act as an inner pocket for a Moleskine. The side pockets hold a Surefire and a pair of gloves. I removed the waist belt as it was more of a distraction than an advantage (and I have yet to miss it). While not water proof, it does a standup job keeping most weather off my stuff.
