The shoe itself is fantastic. You do not need or want the laces as it holds to your foot extremely well.
The bottom sole seems to grip well & as I walk up & down hills on rainy days, I do not want to slip & fall.
IMPORTANT: order '1' complete size larger than you normally wear. The Chinese made Men's size '10' is exactly a' US 9', though the shoe is marked 'US 10'.
I haven't worn it enough to know how well it wears.
If it should turn out to be long wearing & durable, I will buy 5 more pairs.
I gave the shoe '4 stars' based on the limited time I have owned a pair.
