I have a Cushe boot with a sole exactly like this one. The boot is warm, mostly dry, fashionable but have ABSOLUTELY NO TRACTION AT ALL. After surviving 4 snowy winters at my college town without slipping and falling the boots caused me to break my record. Unless you have yaktrax or something like that, I would look elsewhere for a more functional boot in the snow and ice.
