Broken lace, but otherwise a great shoe

My 3 year old has been wearing these for just over two months and the lacing on one of them broke at the top where it connects with the tab. I love that they are completely water proof and the anti-odor foot bed really works. We had a traditional pair of keens last year that I had to spray with odor eater powder every few days or the odor of both the shoe and the foot was unbearable. I fully expected to have to do that with these but I've been pleasantly surprised. Probably for that fact alone I'll get another pair of these - hopefully we just got a bad pair.
