A few days ago I picked up the Reverso 4 from Bent Gate mountaineering in Golden, Co (home of Coors beer) because I saw a friend use the auto-block and felt that I needed a auto-blocking device. So here I am. This is arguably the best belay ever (besides the GriGri but this is better for multi-pitch anyways). Its teeth catch on the rope so much that the resistance when lowering a climber comes as a surprise. It's also super lightweight. It's a whole 12 grams lighter than the Reverso 3 which is a huge difference. If you need a reliable, long-lasting belay device for multi pitch goodness, look no further.
