Basic Base

I've been buying SmartWool liner gloves just about every Winter for the past decade. These keep your hands toasty even when wet (hooray wool!).

Their construction, for the most part, is solid, but be forewarned, that just the smallest tear or cut can cause these to quickly unravel. If you're planning on doing any "work" whether it's carrying wood for a fire or carrying your skis to the lift, use an outer glove to avoid demolishing these.

While I realize that these are "liner" gloves and not meant for "heavy lifting", their construction can be brought into question just in the slightest. Otherwise, almost perfect, that's why I keep buying them!
