There was some issue with that add. The Crocus color pictured in that add should have been $25. It is now at that price. If you see something like that in future give us a call or chat and we can take care of that price for you.

Yep, on the Crocus. That is true enough.
But, I'm really not impressed with this dubious and somewhat deceptive business practice of advertising a sale only to find out the 'sale' does not apply to the majority of shoes, but rather exclusively to one singled-out color. I find this insulting and in poor taste, and reflective of a business model that attempts to fool or mislead the customer. If one shoe is on sale, then state that clearly and honestly. If this practice continues you will lose a customer in me, as I find this offensive and quite unnecessary. I think Backcountry is underestimating the intelligence of its customer base.
