Almost what I wanted

I am all about not polluting our waters while I fish. The tin instead of lead is an excellent idea for this. However, the lack of a reopening device means I sacrifice my leader when I want to change weights. It also means I can't reuse my weights to help save the environment. Change that one thing and they would be perfect, I'd even pay more for them.

I ran into this problem at first, then i realized they reopen easily with the use of forceps. I just grip one side with my forceps and then grab the other side using my finger nail and it opens right up. I like this style of weights more than the one with the easy openers because I think the sleeker design is harder for the fish to see.

I've found that I can usually just open them with a fingernail, no tool required.
