All winter, every winter
- Gender: Male
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
I typically burn through a pair of these each year, wearing them almost exclusively from mid-October to mid-May. That's a lot of days, a lot of crawling around in nasty weather, and wiping bike grease, motor oil, dirt, and whatever else I find into 'em. They take a couple weeks and a couple washings to start to feel just right, but they get better and better after that. Double-front is crucial --it insulates better through the winter, and it's more protective. My single fronts last roughly half as long.
