I have a tiny tiny head, so buying kid's beanies is a great option for me. This hat is exceptionally long for how small the head should be. I would think you may get a ton of extra floppiness at the top were a youngster to wear it. (Which may be desirable, depends on your style I guess).

The first 3-4 inches is lined with thick warm fleece, to help insulate your ears. The acrylic yarn is very soft. I like the hat, but wish it were not so 'long'
