If you are the trail running light and fast type, these socks are great, I have taken these through just about any condition you can think of and they performed well, after 10 days canyoneering in Escalante my smartwool socks of similar design wore out to the point of retirement, Darn Tough says it best, these socks will stand strong when the going gets tough!
