Awesome!
So I'll start with the Bad, cause its only one issue: The pole will "roll" when extended if holding the shaft to flip climbing wires. just don't hold it past the release pin.
So, they're light, they fit INSIDE your pack, they're still adjustable. And solid enough for long tours in rough terrain. They might take up some space in your pack but its not much. Love the Black diamond grips. I did put a few yards of duct tape (just in case) below the grips for a choke grip, there is a grip tape on the shafts already. Maybe these will have a Whippet option soon....??
