A Pain To Scrape
Seems to be a pretty common complaint for Backcountry's house wax. It goes on just fine with the iron but scraping is terrible. Expect to have some sore wrists by the end of your wax job. The wax works great; especially if you're in the East Coast like me. It certainly stays for a long time after being applied to your board or skis. If you grab it on sale I would say totally worth if you have an extruded base, but if you have sintered and need to wax a lot go elsewhere. Not to say it won't work, but you don't wanna go through the scraping process often with this stuff... Cheap, durable, and gets the job done!
