I LOVED the original Shiva (the yellow ones), and skied them for two seasons with one minor complaint that the first generation liners packed out too fast, and BD has definitely fixed the issue with these (which I have skied for one season and am going into season two right now). I had to go through a bit of pain to mold these but to be fair in my review, I went for a half size smaller liner based on my experience with the 1st gen liners. I think it would have been a much more seamless process had I stuck to my regular size.

The Shiva is the only Dynafit or tech compatible boot that I could find to fit my calves, and while it may not be the lightest weight touring boot, I find it to be the perfect all-around boot that can handle a mix of in bounds resort skiing and day tours, and I feel confident in it's performance 100% of the time.

My only complaint now is with the color scheme... I don't know who thought the barbie pink-&-white/my-little-pony color scheme was a good choice for grown women... I vote to bring back the yellow!
