Wouldn't be a bad idea for the palm being that it is leather. The rest of the glove shouldn't be necessary.

I used the hestra balm on this glove, had been on some wet days and it`s holding water really good... haven`t tried that yet on really cold days, not even a liner was necessary yet, but seems to be warm for most of the days also too warm for spring
