Hi Jean, yeah this has a mesh lining (2 layer jacket)... While it is fully waterproof its not going to breathe as well as others (3 layer jackets, other materials)... If money isn't an issue, I would look at a jacket made with eVent material as this will breathe the best... if this is your price range, I would recommend The North Face Venture jacket over this one...
