do you have any instructions for locating the binding on the ski?? (i have purchased two pairs for christmas gifts and i would like to get them mounted up so we can ski christmas afternoon!!)

The place where the binding holds onto the pin in the boot should be located over the balance point.

I generally locate the balance points on both skis, then take the average of the two. If you don't have a jig, don't worry. You can directly screw the binding onto the ski (make sure the heel plate is properly adjusted to the boots that will be using the skis).

I would suggest that after screwing the binding onto the skis, to take the bindings off, and then put wood glue in the holes, reinstall the bindings, then let it sit upside down overnight.

If you have any other questions, let me know.
