You can usually pick up extensions from a descent bike shop. They're a little metal piece that acts as a piece of housing. I wouldn't necessarily recommend it with this kit as it's made to work sort of like a sealed mechanism.....sort of. It works though. I had to do that with the original Gore cables/housing that came out in the mid '90s. Try it out. Worst case scenario you have to buy some more housing.Hope that helps.
