I have the anarchist in a 32 liter (similar size and shape) and I have no problems with chairlifts, including older chairlifts with smaller seats.

Just take it off. Its a bit large especially if you have skins, probe ,shovel, food etc.

Works fine in Jackson Hole Mtn. Resort & everyone skis with their bc packs on there due to all the awesome bc slackcoutry .

I just loosen the waist belt, pop the sternum strap and remove the left shoulder strap. Now it is super easy to swing round to the side or in front of me. If your helmet is in the sling, its a little more difficult, but still no real big deal.
